Join Our Expert Panel at Learn and Thrive
Are you passionate about creating inclusive and impactful educational content? Learn and Thrive is seeking dedicated professionals and stakeholders to join our newly formed Expert Panel. This volunteer opportunity is perfect for those who want to make a difference and contribute to the development of video-based learning materials that support individuals with Down's syndrome and other learning disabilities.
Your Role: As a member of the Expert Panel, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our learning materials. Your involvement will include:
Initial Review: Participating in an initial meeting to review and discuss our existing projects and materials.
Ongoing Feedback: Meeting three months after the release of each new series to provide feedback, suggest updates, and ensure our content meets the highest standards of excellence. Approximately 2-4 short meetings a year, mainly online.

Teachers with experience in special education
Down's syndrome specialists
Relationship and Sex Education (RSE) specialists
Early years education experts
Parent users of our content
Professional users in educational and healthcare settings
Speech therapists with a focus on developmental disabilities
Convenience and Support:
Online Participation: Most sessions can be completed online, allowing you to contribute from the comfort of your home or office.
Covered Costs: We will cover all costs associated with your participation, ensuring that you can fully engage without financial concerns.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative effort to enhance educational resources and make a meaningful impact without the ongoing responsibilities associated with regular work or trustee roles.
