Free, fun, and inclusive exercise videos for young people with SEND

Including professionals you may know and love, including Tailfeather Dance, these exercise videos give practical meaning to the theory taught in ‘Being Healthy’ all about being active.

Free to sign up and access, anywhere, anytime.

Videos include:

  • Keep Fit

  • Strength

  • Dance

  • Zumba

  • Pilates

  • Booty Barre

  • Yoga

These videos provide a variety of different exercises, to give the viewer a choice of high, medium, or low intensity exercises. Best of all, the Down’s syndrome community is at the heart of this series. Each video is either taught by or features members of the Down’s syndrome community, including qualified Zumba instructor Hannah Payton from Move to the Groove, who you can watch in the preview clip above.

Individuals with Down’s syndrome are at a higher risk of obesity than the general population, so it’s important to foster healthy habits around exercise. Learning for Life supports parent carers and educators to do this for their young people, by providing all of these videos, alongside the rest of the project, completely free.
