New partnership announced between Learn and Thrive and the Down’s Syndrome Association

Marking a joint commitment to providing quality, free resources for people who have Down’s syndrome and their parents and carers, we are pleased to announce a partnership between the Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) and Learn and Thrive.

Learn and Thrive provides learners who have Down’s syndrome with access to specialist support and digital tools to help them learn and thrive throughout their lives. The Down’s Syndrome Association’s resources, training and expertise have supported people who have Down’s syndrome, from birth into old age, for over 50 years.

Carol Boys, Chief Executive of the DSA, said:

‘It is really important to us, as an organisation, that good support is available to everyone, not just those who can afford it. That is why we’re very pleased to be working with Learn and Thrive, whose excellent education resources are available to all.’

Johanna Aiyathurai, CEO of Learn and Thrive, said:

'As a small charity, we are so pleased to be able to partner with the DSA. Their long-standing reputation and excellent provision of support is crucial in helping the Down's syndrome community, and is an amazing means of us bringing our free resources to more children and young people across the country.'

Together, Learn and Thrive and the DSA will continue to develop new tools, content and activities for people who have Down’s syndrome of all ages.
