Thriving Lives - Partnership
Here is an example of what working with us could look like:
Your groups deliver 13 -15 one-hour sessions. Either as new sessions or as part of existing sessions.
We deliver a face-to-face or online training session to adults running the session before they get going.
A fully prepared pack of all the resources you could need will be delivered directly to you to use alongside the video. Enough for the number of people in your group.
It may be possible for a member of our team to attend your first group if needed.
A total of 10 sessions will be delivered by your team.
We will then come in for the last session to support you to do a feedback session.
Additionally, we will organise 2/3 sessions (supported by your team to give consistency to the young people) where the young people come along to look at what topics they would like to do next, how we should do them, and then decide if they would like to be part of filming.
We will then invite them on to our professional filming days to deliver some of the content or be involved. This is NOT an audition-style process. Everyone who wants to be involved will be given that chance, either in front or behind the camera. We do ask that your group or parents/carers provide support on these days if young people are under 18, or deemed to need adult supervision due to mental capacity needs. The safeguarding of your groups remains your responsibility and the Learn and THrive team act as visitors to your sessions. This serves to keep very clear boundaries as both health and safety and safeguarding are extremely important to us all.
Are you able to provide 10, 1-hour sessions either as part of an existing service or as new sessions? The sessions should satisfy the following:
Support CYP with SEND
Have at least 4 group members with a maximum of 8 members.
Have a minimum adult ratio of 1:4. However, you know your young people best so they may need higher ratio numbers.
Access to a large screen and appropriate table/chairs for the CYP to complete some of the activities.
