Support Fund for Resource Packs

The support fund is here to ensure that children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds can still access the additional physical materials that have been produced to complement the free programmes.

Every time someone buys a pack, they are helping to fund a pack for the child or young person who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access this support. We are also looking for individuals and businesses who would like to gift a pack to a family. The fund is simple - the more packs funded by sales, or gifted by individuals/businesses, the more families will benefit.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must satisfy all the below

  • The person receiving the benefit of the resources is in receipt of DLA or PIP

  • The person receiving the benefit of the resources is currently living in the UK

  • You have evidence of entitlement to any one of the following:

    • Universal Credit

    • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance

    • Income Related Employment Support Allowance

    • Income Support

    • Housing Benefit

If you are aware of any child who is in need of support and a family cannot afford to purchase a pack, please get in touch with us. We recognise that peoples situations change and that support is sometimes needed outside these parameters. No child should miss out. Please get in touch.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Only one pack per project and per household is available through the support fund. If packs for different projects are needed, there must be at least three months before the next request.

  • When demand for resource pack outstrips supply, we will hold a waiting list. You will only be added to the waiting list once supporting documents and the application form have been submitted

  • Our support is discretionary and subject to available funding, so we may decline an application where a family has a significant level of capital or household income

HOW TO APPLY

  2. Send copies of proof for both the receipt of DLA or PIP (within the last 12 months), and additional evidence of entitlement as laid out in the eligibility section. Send these to contact@learnandthrive.org.uk along with your name and email.
