Tell us all about your experience, and we will share it far and wide!

There are several ways in which we can work with you to showcase your experience with Teach Me Too and/or Learning for Life.

Option 2: Photo Showcase

Option 1: Experience Blog

  1. Sit down with your child/young person and ask them about their experience with the project. Write down both their thoughts and yours. Particularly useful is any specific videos or resources that you love! We want to hear both of your perspectives.

  2. Send us an email at contact@learnandthrive.org.uk with the subject as ‘Experience Blog’, with yours and your child’s name, all the information you wrote down, and a photo of your child or your with your child.

  3. We will be in touch with a full version of the blog, and will consult you on all edits and the final version. We will never post anything you aren’t happy with.

  4. The blog will go live on our website and shared across social media platforms.

  1. Collect photos of your child/young person using the resources. Make sure they are as clear as possible. They can be landscape or portrait.

  2. Send these images via email to contact@learnandthrive.org.uk or via any direct messaging system on our social media. If emailing, use the subject ‘Photo Showcase’. In your message, include any comments you would like to make about the project, your name, and your child’s name.

  3. We will send you a copy of the caption(s) we will use with the photos across social media to verify you are happy with how we have conveyed your experience.

  4. The photos will be posted across social media!

Option 3: Video Diary

  1. While using the resources, take some video of your child doing the activities. You could even film you and them doing them together, with you helping them along. Take all your videos in the same orientation, i.e. landscape, or portrait. This makes editing them together much more seamless.

  2. Take another video of you and your child, where you are talking to them about what they like about the resources. Try to make sure the sound is as clear as possible. If you’d like, you can involve signing with Makaton!

  3. Email all the video files to contact@learnandthrive.org.uk using the subject ‘Video Diary’. We will be back in touch to verify the captions we will use across social media about your experience.

We will accept all of these means of sharing your experience at any time, but be aware that if we have a large volume at one time, we will need some time to process it all. This use will not be limited to the promotion of individual experiences, but may be used across all digital media to promote the charity as a whole, its events, its resources, the experience showcases you are providing them for, and any other applicable promotion.
