Shop Now Live!

This is really big news… our ‘Growing Up and Keeping Safe’ series from Learning for Life is now available to buy as a ready-made printed pack!

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes for six months or so to get a purchasable version of the resources we use alongside the videos.

It was interesting for us in the past year or so that when we started attending conferences, meeting more external individuals, and talking more in-depth to our members, we discovered that so many would pay for ready-made packs. We’ve always favoured the side of using time over money. But now we have talked directly to a wider group, we’ve decided that we want to give our members the ability to make the choice themselves.

We will not be taking away the current set up of our projects; signing up, accessing the videos, and downloading the resources to go alongside them. The packs we are building will mean that the resources are already printed, cut, and ready to use. This includes all our people and their clothes for the ‘My Body’ videos! Not only this, but they are made of a sturdy coated paper so they can be used over and over again at home, in schools, and in support groups.

You’ll receive a shiny A4 sized box containing all of the activities in the ‘Growing Up and Keeping Safe’. Inside there are instructions on exactly how to use them!
There are 100 boxes available, including 5 which are being added into our support fund.

The Support Fund

Our vision is ‘A world where everyone with Down’s syndrome thrives’.

Keeping our resources free has been a crucial way to ensure that our resources can reach people of all backgrounds, across the UK (and the world!), regardless of income. While we recognise that not changing our original model means this stays in place, we’re also making efforts to ensure that these new packs can also reach these individuals. That’s why we’ve set up a Support Fund. In this support fund, we will take 5 out of every 100 packs made and put them aside, to be provided for free to individuals and families who are eligible based on our criteria.

Not only will we be providing these packs, but you can also add a donation to contribute to the boxes in the Support Fund; you can donate from £10, all the way up to a whole pack at £85. Either you can make this donation individually, or you can add it onto your own purchase of the Growing Up and Keeping Safe Pack.
